A bright-white and sparkling European-cut diamond, weighing 1.30 carats, beams brightly from within a bezel-setting, highlighted east and west with diagonal stripes of royal blue calibre sapphires (synthetic*) in this original Art Deco dazzler hand fabricated in platinum and aglitter all around with small single-cut diamonds. A scrolled side gallery adds the finishing flourish to this superb and stunning Jazz Age jewel. Currently ring size 6. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their color consistency and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their differences discernible only with a microscope.
