A beautiful bright-white and sparkling European-cut diamond, weighing 1.23 carats, beams brilliantly from within an octagonal setting atop an Art Deco mounting die-struck and hand finished in platinum - circa 1920s-30s. The scintillating stone (accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: J color - VS2 clarity) is embellished on four sides with groupings of four tiny twinkling single-cut diamonds accented on each corner with a small synthetic* scissor-cut sapphire. Delicate millegrain edging and hand engraved neoclassical ornamentation add the finishing touches to this distinctively stunning Jazz Age jewel. Total diamond weight, 1.55 carats. *Original to the period and used for their flawless clarity and color consistency. Hand engraved and hand pierced in platinum. Currently ring size 7.
