About this ring
A master of illusion, the extraordinarily skilled jeweler who fashioned this magnificent Art Deco ring created a beautiful effect of 'woven ribbons.' Set with glittering single-cut diamonds and deep blue calibre synthetic* sapphires, they wrap around a brightly sparkling 1.17 carat European-cut diamond, while tiny sprays of leaves that adorn the shoulders, milgrain edging, and exquisitely fine hand engraving on the shank add artfully crafted details to this glorious neoclassical jewel. Total diamond weight, 1.39 carats. *Original to the piece and to the period, synthetic sapphires were used for their flawless clarity and color consistency. Accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: J color - VS2 clarity. Hand fabricated in platinum and engraved with, "CB to AG, May 23, 1926." Currently ring size 5 1/2.
