While it might be challenging to fit a square peg in a circle, circles—especially sparkly ones—fit inside squares just fine. This effervescent late Art Deco ring is a case in point. A radiant, icy-white 1.14-carat European-cut diamond (appearing even larger in its cornered prong setting), rests in a square frame, shimmering with smaller European cuts and accented east and west with fan-like shapes set with pairs of diamonds. Fine hand engraving on the shank adds subtle detail to this alluring finger jewel. Total diamond weight, 1.64 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 5 3/4. GIA Diamond Grading Report states: H color - SI1 clarity. Condition note: one small diamond is a single cut.
