About this ring
Geometry rose to new ranks during the Art Deco era. Artisans used humble--but hard-working--triangles, squares, circles, rectangles, and more to create masterful compositions. In this one, a magnificent 1.13 carat European-cut diamond with D color (the absolute whitest) and VS1 clarity, sparkles spectacularly against a backdrop of geometric shapes set with twinkling single-cut diamonds along with trios of flashing icy-white baguettes. The arresting assemblage is set in platinum and crowns a currently size 8 ring shank. Circa 1930 and sublime. Total diamond weight, 1.46 carats. Hand fabricated (shank is newer). GIA Diamond Grading Report states: D color - VS1 clarity. Note: limited sizing--one size down only.
