Its blazing focal point is a 1.11 carat European-cut diamond in a gleaming square setting (effectively enhancing the size of the stone), accented east and west by glistening square-cut diamonds and midnight-blue whistle-shaped synthetic sapphires*, all atop a bold, bright platinum band. Total diamond weight, 1.31 carats. In platinum, currently ring size 8. Accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: I color - SI1 clarity. *Original to the piece and to the period, synthetic sapphires were often used for their color consistency and flawless clarity.
