About this ring
A warm, light-yellow European-cut diamond, weighing 1.03 carats, crowns a striking architectural-inspired mounting replete with deep blue French-cut synthetic* sapphire calibre accents and four tiny diamond twinklers, and is further enhanced by delicate openwork and hand-engraved ornamentation. Classic 1920s Art Deco. Hand fabricated, currently ring size size 6. Accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: N color, SI1 clarity. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their color consistency and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires (more usually incorporated as accent stones) were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their subtle differences only detectable with a microscope. Condition note: engraving shows wear commensurate with age of ring.
