About this ring
With an artfully askew design, this delightful Art Deco ring is a riveting composition of diamonds and vibrant color. A scintillating .95 European-cut diamond is accented by angular ribbons, positioned diagonally and set with single-cut diamonds, while dashes of bright raspberry-red calibre synthetic* rubies add striking contrast. Hand-engraving all around the shank and millegrain edging add texture and finishing detail to this unique Jazz Age-inspired jewel. Total diamond weight, 1.20 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 6 1/2. GIA Diamond Grading Report states: L color - I1 clarity. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their uniformity of color and flawless clarity, synthetic color stones were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, besides the fact that the virtually undetectable differences are only discernible with a microscope.
