About this ring
This ultra-rare and ravishing mid-19th century jewel has seemingly stepped out of a Royal portrait painting from the Renaissance (and maybe onto your finger). An antique rose-cut diamond, weighing just shy of 2.00 carats, flashes from within an early buttercup style setting, dramatically embellished with green, black and white enamel, all of which are supported by fanciful black and white enameled shoulders. A truly spectacular and stunning survivor in superb condition (for its advanced age), hand fabricated in 15ct. yellow gold, hence, more than likely of British origin. Now and forever size 8.
