A high-grade, Swiss-made minute repeating pocket watch in superb condition by G. Braillard & Freres of Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. The chimes (or gongs) which sound one each for the hour, double chimes for the quarter hours, and fast chimes for the minutes, are loud and distinct. There is a fanciful monogram 'TRH' engraved on the back, and 'G. BRAILLARD Fct. MEDAILLE D'OR GENEVE' is engraved on the cuvette. Amaze your friends and onlookers with this fascinating and ingenious 18th century technology! (watch is actually 19th century). Crafted in 18K yellow gold.
